Single Arm Reverse Fly with Cable While Standing

  1. Attach a single handle to the high pulley cable machine. Stand facing sideways , feet shoulder-width apart.

  2. Grasp the handle with the arm furthest from the machine in an overhand grip (palms facing down). Start with your arm extended and in front of your forehead

  3. Keeping your elbow slightly bent, move the arm to the side. Focus on squeezing your shoulder blade as you lift. Avoid excessive arching of the lower back.

  4. Pause briefly when your arm reaches back, then slowly bring it back to the starting position in a controlled motion.

  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps, keeping tension on the working muscle throughout.

  6. Complete all reps for one side before switching and performing the exercise with the opposite arm.

  7. Maintain good upright posture throughout - avoid excessive leaning when lifting or lowering the weight.
