Overhead Triceps Extension with Cable (Rope attachment)
Attach a rope handle to the top pulley of a cable machine. Grab an end in each hand.
Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart, knees soft. Engage your core.
With your arms extended overhead, elbows pointed up, and forearms vertical, slowly lower the rope down behind your head.
Keep your upper arms stable and elbows fixed in place as you bend at the elbows to lower the rope. Do not move your upper arms.
Lower the rope until your forearms are parallel to the floor. Keep your wrists straight.
Press the rope back overhead by straightening your arms. Squeeze your triceps at the top.
Maintain proper posture. Do not arch your lower back as you raise the rope.
Control the motion and keep tension on your triceps throughout the exercise.
Overhead triceps extensions with a rope isolate and strengthen the back of your arms. Maintain stability and control.
